OUR HISTORY
In 1982 the Pastificio Di Bari Tarall’Oro was born in the pleasant countryside of the south-east of Bari, precisely in Turi. Initially as a tarallificio, this activity immediately set itself the main objective of being able to satisfy the needs of consumers. In fact, after a few years, it decides to offer its customers new products, while maintaining the usual quality, thus starting a new line that this time includes the production of artisan pasta that immediately finds a good response on the market.
The production takes place with the use of extra calibrated semolina obtained for the extraction from the best durum wheat of the murge.
Initially the manufacturing process took place by means of artisanal machinery that only allowed the production of pasta formed as orecchiette, cavatelli, fusilli, strascinate, capunti … In the following years, however, thanks to the continuous request from customers who contributed to the growth of company, new production lines were installed
and new equipped machinery adopted of dies and bronze inserts that have allowed the increase of references including: locks, wheels, flowers, pennette, macaroni, strozzapreti …
In 2000, another artisanal production line was installed to allow the company to produce quality tagliolina and spaghetti rigati.
Although new technologies have been adopted over the years, the production has nevertheless remained faithful to traditions to preserve the flavors of the past. Those achieved in recent years are all great goals that have valid prerequisites: Tarall’Oro wants to spread food products recognized by consumers as excellent for taste and quality, which contribute to a correct diet.
Currently, new extensions are planned that will allow a further increase in production and an improvement in product quality to increasingly meet customer needs and consumer satisfaction.
